I worked with Fiona Gordon on Horizons One Plan over an extended period. As a landscape planner and ‘expert witness’ I have worked with many planners over the last 15 years.  Prior to becoming an independent consultant  I was national manager of planning for the Department of Conservation.

Fiona is one of the most astute planners I have worked with. Others will no doubt endorse this. In my own experience however I found Fiona particularly skilled in mediation. Fiona has a quick mind and the ability to listen to conflicting viewpoints while developing an integrated and inclusive overview, a special skill that only comes with experience.
